On Friday, June 24, several Kinnikinnik members gathered at the new park and pavilion located adjacent to the historic Log School in Black Forest. We were there to admire the tree our conservation chairman, Andi, had requested as our conservation project this year. Kinnikinnik Chapter has contributed to the preservation of the school for many years and with the addition of the park we contributed money to purchase a deciduous tree to add color to the grounds. The Log School, Community Center and now a new pavilion and park have been developed at the corner of Shoup and Black Forest Roads. This is an ongoing project that will take time to complete and we are excited to be a part of this historic preservation project. Thank you to our Chaplain, Juanita for the dedication prayer.
